Hydro-Technologies is focused on providing reliable and friendly service to all our client organizations and private customers. Our office, laboratory and workshop facilities are located in Gisborne, New Zealand. 

We are a privately owned limited liability company, founded on 1 March 1999.  The company operates in a corporate environment with a Board of Directors.  Our two local executive directors, Bob and Dave, manage all the day-to-day functions of the business, with knowledge gained from over sixty years practical job experience between them, in the fields of applied hydrology and water technology.  The third local director comes from a successful background in accounting and business investment. An additional director nominated from Hydro Tasmania Consulting (Hobart, Australia) acts as the fourth member of the Board.

Our water quality testing laboratory has been operating continuously under Telarc/IANZ chemical and microbiological accreditation for nearly 25 years. Also, international accreditation in food product testing was recently achieved (August 2004) in order to meet the demand of Gisborne-based food producers. 

Our field staff are a skilled team of mobile support technicians, having local knowledge and proven experience with hydrological/environmental equipment and their associated service requirements, practices and standards.
