Hydro-Technologies is focused on providing reliable and friendly service to all of our client organizations and to all private customers. Our office, laboratory and workshop facilities are located in Gisborne, New Zealand (See Map). 

We are a privately owned limited liability company, founded on 1 March 1999.  The business was purchased from the Gisborne District Council and Unitary Authority on 2 August 1999.  Two local executive directors, Bob and Dave, manage all the day-to-day functions of the business, with knowledge gained from over sixty five year's practical job experience between them, in the fields of applied hydrology and water technology. 

The water quality testing laboratory has been accredited in both chemical and microbiological water testing under the same authorised representative continuously for over 25 years.  This was originally known as TELARC Registration when the lab was local authority owned, and later became known as IANZ Accreditation.  International accreditation in food product testing was achieved in August 2004 in order to meet the demands of Gisborne-based food producers. 

Our field staff are a skilled team of mobile support technicians, having local knowledge and proven experience with hydrological/environmental monitoring equipment and the associated service requirements, practices and standards. They  effectively and efficiently cover the Gisborne/East Coast Region and also the Northern Hawkes Bay Region.
